PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid disconnection of communication (for example, a session) at a time of switching without changing topology of an IP layer if a router is switched to a standby router.SOLUTION: A network controller 1 includes: a BGP peer establishing unit 113 that establishes an iBGP (internal BGP) session with a second router and obtains BGP path information; and a BGP peer duplicating unit 114 that duplicates the state of a BGP peer of the second router, installs the obtained BGP path information in a third router to which the same configuration as the first router is set, and switches a transmission path between the first router and the second router to a path between the second router and the third router. |
