摘要 Provided is a non-reciprocal transmission line device that is constructed by vertically connecting between one pair of ports a plurality of unit cells having a microwave transmission line portion, serial branch circuitry and parallel branch circuitry, wherein the propagation constant for the forward direction and the propagation constant for the reverse direction are mutually different. The unit cells are arranged in a non-linear shape. The unit cells have a transmission line portion that is magnetized in a different direction from the microwave propagation direction and is magnetized so as to have gyro anisotropic properties. The device is structured such that microwaves are propagated by using, as the operating frequency, a frequency band within a band gap created as a result of the mutual intersection and coupling of dispersion curves for the right-handed system mode and the left-handed system mode, for which the directions of transmitted power transmitted along the non-reciprocal transmission line device are mutually opposite, or a frequency near the intersection point of two dispersion curves for which no band gap appears. Both ends of the device are provided with a reflector that reflects a signal to be inputted.
