Provided is a LED lamp that can provide high electric power and a high output due to an improvement in a cooling effect achieved using a cooling fan while simultaneously preventing a reduction in the performance of the cooling fan. The LED lamp has a base, a tubular heat sink having a through-hole that extends along a center axis, a substrate arranged on the side surface of the heat sink, an LED element adhering to the substrate, a cooling fan arranged between the base and the heat sink, a housing body covering the cooling fan, and a transparent cover covering the substrate and the LED element. The center axis of the cooling fan and the center axis of the heat sink are aligned with the center axis of the lamp. The heat sink has concentric inside and outside tubular parts and is configured so that a center through-hole is formed inside the inside tubular part and a pipe-like through-hole is formed between the inside tubular part and the outside tubular part. |
