A garbage-accommodating device is provided with: an outer box (3) having an opening (3a) in the top surface thereof; a machine chamber (5) provided in the bottom part of the outer box (3), the machine chamber (5) having a compressor (7) installed therein; a storage part (4) provided above the machine chamber (5) with a partitioning wall (9) interposed therebetween; an inner case (6) placed inside the storage part (4), the inner case (6) being taken out or put in via the opening (3a); a lid part (10) pivotably supported on the rear end of the outer box (3), the lid part (10) opening and closing the opening (3a); and a cooler (8) connected to the compressor (7), the cooler (8) cooling the interior of the storage part (4), the height of the front end of the opening (3a) being 500-600 mm inclusive. |
