PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which damage of a bead part due to rim assembly is suppressed. ! SOLUTION: A tire 2 comprises: a side wall 4; a clinch 8; a bead 6; a carcass 10; a chafer 16; an inner liner 18; and a sheet 20 formed of a rubber composition. The chafer 16 comprises: a base part 32 disposed on inside of the bead 6 in a radial direction; and a standing part 34 disposed on inside in an axial direction. The standing part 34 extends from the base part 32 outward in the radial direction. The standing part 34 is disposed on inside of the inner liner 18 in the axial direction. A radial direction outer end of the standing part 34 is disposed on outside in the radial direction of the radial direction inner end of the inner liner 18.
