摘要 This invention addresses the problem of providing the following: a smaller, thinner organic EL module that exhibits high touch-detection precision and is suitable for use in a smart device; and a smart device containing said organic EL module. This organic EL module is characterized by an architecture in which an organic EL panel and an electrical connection unit are laminated together and is also characterized in that the electrical connection unit is provided with a capacitive detection circuit on a flexible substrate, is positioned on the light-emitting-surface side of the organic EL panel, and has a light-transmitting section. This organic EL module is further characterized by a fold section with two or more cut sections on at least one side of the electrical connection unit where the aforementioned light-transmitting section is, wherein a land section that is part of the aforementioned detection circuit is electrically connected to a connecting electrode section of the organic EL panel in said fold section.
