The present invention relates to the technical field of Internet. Disclosed are an information obtaining method, an information querying method, a terminal, and a server. The information obtaining method comprises: obtaining a geographical position of an information obtaining terminal; sending an information obtaining request comprising the geographical position to a server; and receiving target multimedia information returned by the server, the target multimedia information being multimedia information that corresponds to a target geographical position and is queried in a database and returned by the server after the server receives the information obtaining request, and the distance between the target geographical position and the geographical position being smaller than a preset threshold. The present invention solves the problem that a terminal may not obtain required information, and achieves the effect that an information obtaining terminal can obtain multimedia information shared by all information sharing terminals in a certain range no matter whether a friend relationship exists between the information obtaining terminal and the information sharing terminals. |
