PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment apparatus which allows miniaturization of the apparatus by simplifying a conveyance mechanism in corner parts.SOLUTION: A surface treatment apparatus includes a conveyance jig 30 holding work 20, a circulation conveyance path 100 through which the circulated conveyance jig is circulation-conveyed and a surface treatment vessel 200 provided in the circulation conveyance path 100. The circulation conveyance path has first and second linear conveyance paths 110 and 120 and first and second turning devices 130 and 140 which turn the conveyance jig horizontally between the end part of the first linear conveyance path and the end part of the second conveyance path so as to deliver the conveyance jig. The first and second turning devices have two turning rails 131 and 132 and 141 and 142, respectively, and turning drives 510 to 514 which turning-drive the turning rails supporting the conveyance jig and the empty turning rails integrally and intermittently by 180°. The individual turning rails of the first and second turning devices are arranged so as to be, at their stop positions, each on the straight lines corresponding to four individual guide rails 234, 235, 242 and 243 arranged at individual end parts of the first and second linear conveyance paths. |
