PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system for efficiently storing and taking out individual case units.SOLUTION: A storage system has: an array of multilevel storage rack modules having storage areas separated by takeout passages; multilevel hierarchical structures in which each layer of hierarchical structures brings access to one level of the array of storage rack modules, and which has at least one conveyance deck and the takeout passage; at least one carry-in conveyer connected with at least one of the multilevel hierarchical structures; at least one carry-out conveyer connected with at least one of the multilevel hierarchical structures; and at least one automated conveyance vehicle arranged in at least one of the multilevel hierarchical structures, in which the at least one automated conveyance vehicle can access each of the storage areas. |
