PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid transportation device having high liquid transportation accuracy.SOLUTION: A liquid transportation device comprises: an elastic tube; a plurality of fingers disposed side-by-side in a transportation direction where liquid is transported through the tube; and a drive section individually driving the plurality of fingers. The liquid transportation device performs transportation of the liquid inside the tube in the transportation direction through a closing operation for driving the fingers so as to press down the tube and sucking of the liquid into the tube through an opening operation for pressing back the fingers by a shape of the tube pressed down being restored. The closing operation of the finger of a downmost stream side in the transportation direction is completed, the opening operation of the finger adjacent to the finger of the downmost stream side in the transportation direction is completed and, subsequently, the closing operation of the finger of an uppermost stream side in the transportation direction is started. |
