The invention relates to a vacuum valve (1) comprising a screw element (9a; 9b) for the mechanically coupling connection of a first component (10) of the vacuum valve (1) to a second component (11). The screw element (9a; 9b) has a force transfer surface section (18) between a threaded surface section (12) having a first thread (14a; 14b) and an engagement surface section (15), arranged in a first gas region (5), for a tool (17). The first component (10) and the second component (11) are coupled mechanically in a form-fitting manner by a thread engagement, carried out through a passage hole (20) in the first component (11), between the first thread (14a; 14b) and a second thread (21a; 21b) assigned to the second component (11). The screw element (9a; 9b) has a sealing surface section (24) between the threaded surface section (12) and the engagement surface section (15).
