A bicycle 301 comprises a transmission having two switchable drives between a driver body on which rear sprockets 321 are positioned and a wheel hub 201 of a rear wheel 313. Thye bicycle is also provided with actuation means for switching between drives and operating means for operating the actuation means. The bicycle comprises only a single front sprocket 319. The actuation means of the transmission are embodied in an electrical version and the operating means 325 are electrically coupled to the actuation means. By advantageously selecting the drives of the driver between the cassette housing and the wheel hub, a front derailleur may be omitted. The driver allows of being operated with only little energy, since the chain need not be shifted. As a result, the actuation means require little energy for changing the drive between the crank axle and the wheel hub of the bicycle, so that it is pre-eminently suitable for these actuation means and the operation of them to be executed as an electrical version.
