In the present invention, disclosed are various embodiment(s) relating to a digital device and a method for processing a screen saver in the digital saver. Here, the digital device processing the screen saver according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a management part managing a window of the digital device, and having the digital device generating and transmitting first state data to a control part upon a first state; a processing part collecting application data including format data and reference data; and a control part controlling application launching, when receiving the first state data from the management part, requesting and receiving application data from the processing part, and transmitting a control command to a screen saver application based on the received application data to control execution of the screen saver. |
