PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope in which an end of a flexible printed board can smoothly pass through a flexible insertion hole when the end of the flexible printed board connected to an ultrasonic probe is inserted to the flexible insertion hole formed on a distal end hard part, and a method of manufacturing the same. ! SOLUTION: An ultrasonic endoscope comprises a resin distal end hard part 19 which supports an ultrasonic probe provided on the surface of a front end of an insertion part extending forward from an operation part and a flexible insertion hole 39 which penetrates the distal end hard part in the cross direction on a rearer side than an ultrasonic probe abutting surface 24 formed in the distal end hard part.
