<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of toner that can stably maintain low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property for a long period of time and has little uneven distribution of wax on a toner surface and excellent durability. <P>SOLUTION: The production method of toner includes the steps of: preparing a resin composition by dissolving or dispersing a binder resin containing a crystalline polyester, colorant particles and wax particles in an organic solvent; preparing a dispersion of liquid particles of the resin composition by dispersing the obtained resin composition in a non-aqueous medium; and forming toner particles by removing the organic solvent from the obtained dispersion of liquid particles. The wax particles are particles comprising a wax component coated with a resin. After the wax particles are dispersed in the organic solvent and the non-aqueous medium, a residual rate of a solid content of the resin coating the wax component is 50 mass% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
