<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition for a color filter which is excellent in dispersibility, flowability, storage stability, and developability.SOLUTION: A coloring composition for a color filter contains a polyester dispersant (X), a pigment, a binder resin, an active energy ray curable monomer, an active energy ray polymerization initiator, and a solvent. The polyester dispersant (X) is obtained by reacting a hydroxyl group in polyol, which is obtained by radical polymerization of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having an ether group in the presence of a compound having two hydroxyl groups and one thiol group in the molecule, and contains a vinyl polymer having two hydroxyl groups in one terminal region, with an acid anhydride group of a tricarboxylic acid anhydride and/or a tetracarboxylic acid anhydride.</p> |
