摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor vessel structure capable of alleviating thermal stress applied to a reactor vessel wall surface that occurs at start-up of a reactor or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A reactor vessel structure is provided with: a space having a liquid surface in which an inert gas filling space G is formed at an upper portion on a liquid surface formed by filling coolant composed of liquid metal installed in a reactor vessel 10A accommodating a reactor core 11; and a coolant retention tank 22 formed by installing an inner cylinder 20 with a bottom extending to a position higher than a coolant liquid surface at reactor steady operation at an inner side of a vessel wall surface in the space having the liquid surface. In the reactor vessel structure, an inner portion of the space having the liquid surface is divided into an inside space Gi and an outside space Go by installing a partition member 25 of which a lower end portion extends below the liquid surface at completion of filling at an inner side spaced apart from the inner cylinder 20 and the liquid metal of the coolant is filled into the coolant retention tank 22 by using a pressure difference generated by relatively changing inert gas filling pressures in the inside space Gi and the outside space Go. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
