<p>The invention provides a cross detection device of an elevator system having ropes. The cross detection device detects in a condition that the ropes connecting a light cage and a balance hammer surpasses an admissible value and runs out. The cross detection device can detect the rope cross condition reliably. The elevator system (1) is provided with a plurality of ropes (6, 7), rope wheels (31, 32, 71) and a cross detection device (10). The cross detection device (10) is provided with a first detection roller (12A) and a second detection roller (12B), a first arm (13A) and a second arm (13B), a rod (14) and a detection part (17). The rod (14) holds the first arm (13A) and the second arm (13B) in a manner of making a space (S) between the first detection roller (12A ) and the second detection roller (12B) to be less than a half of the diameter (d) of the ropes. The detection part (17) detects the condition of leaving of the first detection roller (12A) and the second detection roller (12B).</p> |
