<p>A device 50 for mounting an elongate member (52, fig 3), such as a pipe or section of conduit; the device having a mounting portion (58, fig 2) for fixing the device to a surface (54, fig 2), the mounting portion being connected to a first body portion 66; a second body portion 68 connected to the first body portion by respective retaining portions (72, 74, fig 2) to encircle the elongate member; and a locking means 85 for preventing the second body portion from moving. The retaining portions may be slidable connections parallel to the axis of the conduit, and may have a protrusion 78 and a corresponding trapezoidal channel or groove 76 with abutment surfaces (not shown).
