A method for preventing an abnormal situation during wireless charging according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises the processes of: transmitting wireless charging power with a power value determined in accordance with a first mode to a plurality of wireless power receivers from a wireless power transmitter; determining whether at least one from the wireless power transmitter and the wireless power receivers satisfies an abnormal situation creating condition; and transmitting the wireless charging power with a power value determined in accordance with a second mode to the wireless power receivers from the wireless power transmitter if the abnormal situation creating condition is satisfied.
