<p>The present invention relates to a method for applying advertising images to a puzzle game on a tablet PC or a smart phone and, more particularly to a game server operating method for applying advertisements to a smart phone puzzle game for having a user select an advertising image for obtaining a free item searched by the user or based on the user′s location, and for enabling a game that is applied with the advertising image selected by the user instead of a puzzle image of the smart phone puzzle game on the game server. The game server operating method for applying advertisements to the smart phone puzzle game may include: a first step of receiving user authentication information and user location information from a user terminal; a second step of receiving a free item providing company selection data from the user terminal; a third step of extracting the advertising image of the free item providing company received in the second step from an image storage unit; a fourth step of applying the extracted advertising image to the puzzle image of the puzzle game; and a fifth step of transmitting the puzzle image applied with the advertising image to the user terminal, wherein the free item providing company selection data is one of regional data selected by a regional search, category data selected by an item category search, location data selected by a location-based search, and title data selected by a title search.</p> |
