摘要 The present invention provides an organic electroluminescent device capable of operating at a low driving voltage and having a high efficiency and showing a long life. The organic electroluminescent device of the present invention comprises: an anode; a light emitting layer capable of obtaining light emission that has mainly passed through a single excited state; and a laminated structure of three or more layers between the anode and the light emitting layer and each layer having different components, wherein the laminated structure comprises: a first layer containing a hole transporting compound doped with an electron-accepting compound having a LUMO level of - 9.0 eV or above and -4.0 eV or lower in the compound represented by the general formula (1) of the following formula; a second layer disposed in the side of the light emitting layer rather than the first layer and containing a compound represented by the general formula (1) of the following formula 1; and a third layer disposed in the side of the light emitting layer rather than the second layer and containing a compound represented by the general formula (2) of the following formula 1 wherein the light emitting layer contains a compound represented by the general formula (3) of the following formula 1.
