The present disclosure provides embodiments of a method of providing a virtual window treatment decorating interface that comprises receiving, at a processor, window data pertaining to at least one window of a premises, providing a user interface for selection of a window treatment for the at least one window, rendering one of the at least one window in the user interface, the rendering being generated based on the window data, receiving a selection of a window treatment to be applied to the rendered window, and rendering the window treatment onto the rendered window in the user interface. Preferably, the method includes setting dimensions of the rendered window and window treatment to correspond to professional measurement data of the window to provide an accurate virtual visualization of the window with the selected treatment.

1. An apparatus for providing a virtual window treatment decorating interface, the apparatus comprising:
a processor; a communication unit coupled to said processor enabling said processor to communicate over a network; and a memory unit coupled to said processor; wherein the processor is configured with an application including instructions for causing the processor to:
receive, via said communication unit, window data of at least one window of a premises;provide a user interface for selection of a window treatment from a window treatment module for visualizing on the at least one window of the premises via the network;provide the window data pertaining to the at least one window to a rendering module for rendering a virtual visualization of one of the at least one window in the user interface;receive a selection of a window treatment to be applied to the rendered window; andprovide the window treatment selection for the at least one window to the rendering module for rendering a virtual visualization of the window treatment onto the rendered window in the user interface.
