The invention relates to an actuator including a stationary structure and an actuation element that is movable relative to the stationary structure. A device for locking the actuation element into position is mounted onto the stationary structure and has a state for locking and a state for releasing the actuation element. The locking device includes, consecutively, a force limiter and at least one locking element that is arranged such as to be butting up against one surface of the actuation element, in order to counter a movement of the actuation element in a predetermined direction. The actuator includes a member for controlling the locking device in the released state thereof and a member for resiliently returning the locking device into the locked state thereof. |
