This self-repairing wiring (1) has a structure wherein metal wiring (3) is provided on a stretchable flexible substrate (2), and as a repair part for cracks (7) which occur in the metal wiring (3), the metal wiring (3) is covered with a liquid (5) having metal nanoparticles dispersed (4) therein. Even if a crack (7) occurs in the metal wiring (3) as a result of stretching of the flexible substrate (2), the crack (7) is bridged by metal nanoparticles (4) in the fluid (5), by using a force which selectively acts only on the crack (7) part, thereby selectively repairing the metal wiring (3) only in the part where the crack (7) has occurred. In addition, a stretchable device is provided by combining such a self-repairing wiring (1) with an electrical element which does not stretch. As a result of this configuration, self-repairing wiring and a stretchable device with high conductivity and high stretchability are provided. |
