With a moisture sense evaluation device according to the present invention: an image input unit (1) receives an input of a photographic image which is a frontal photograph of a face (F) of a subject; a brightness-color index computation unit (10) derives, from the photographic image which is inputted into the image input unit (1), brightness and color component values which include skin brightness, redness, and yellowness, and computes brightness and color indices on the basis of the brightness and color component values; a shape index computation unit (11) detects, from the photographic image which is inputted into the image input unit (1), an uneven portion of skin, and computes a shape index on the basis of the degree to which the uneven portion is present; and a moisture sense evaluation unit (5) evaluates a sense of visible moisture in the face (F) of the subject on the basis of the brightness and color indices and the shape index. |
