The present invention achieves an axial flow fan which improves airflow-static pressure properties, and when using a shape for reducing noise, reduces the stress produced on the front edge section of the blade roots. An axial flow fan (100) equipped with a boss section (2) and a plurality of rotating blades (10). A rotating blade (10') is divided into a first region (11) starting at the boss section (2) and extending toward the outer-circumferential side, and a second region (12) connected to the first region (11) and extending from the first region (11) to the outermost periphery of the rotating blade (10'). Furthermore, the distribution of angle of advance quadratically changes in the first region (11), and the maximum value of the angle of advance in the first region (11) is set to a value at or below the angle of advance of the second region (12). In addition, the distribution of chord-pitch ratio curvilinearly changes in the first region (11) with the blade root as the minimum value, and has a linear distribution in the second region (12). |
