Abstract ALS has been developed primarily to prevent accidents when drivers accidentally mistake the accelerator for the brake pedal. Intentional rapid pressure of the accelerator causes many problems from hooning, racing, burnouts ram raids etc, ALS will mitigate the effects of uncontrolled acceleration.
