The present invention provides a colored photosensitive composition (colored alkali-developable photosensitive composition) having excellent heat resistance and an optical filter using said colored photosensitive composition (colored alkali-developable photosensitive composition), and in particular a color filter which is suitable for image display devices, such as liquid crystal display panels, and does not lower luminance. Specifically, the present invention provides: a colored photosensitive composition containing (A) a dye comprising a compound represented by general formula (I), (B) a polymerizable compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, and (C) a photopolymerization initiator; and a color filter for a display device using the colored photosensitive composition.
