Use of a multilayer film comprising (a) a layer facing a solar cell, which is made of a molding composition comprising 35 wt.% polyamide, based on the total molding composition, (c) an intermediate layer made of a molding composition comprising at least 35 wt.% polypropylene, based on the total molding composition, and (e) an outer layer made of a molding composition comprising 35 wt.% polyamide, based on the total molding composition, as a back cover of a photovoltaic module, is claimed. Use of a multilayer film comprising (a) a layer facing a solar cell, which is made of a molding composition comprising 35 wt.% polyamide, based on the total molding composition, (c) an intermediate layer made of a molding composition comprising at least 35 wt.% polypropylene, based on the total molding composition, and (e) an outer layer made of a molding composition comprising 35 wt.% polyamide, based on the total molding composition, as a back cover of a photovoltaic module, is claimed. The adhesion between the layers (a) and (c) and between the layers (c) and (e) is produced by: the polypropylene with a sufficient concentration of acid anhydride groups to improve adhesion, or by a functionalized polyolefin that is compatible with polypropylene, which provides sufficient functional groups for adhering the polyamide layer, in the molding composition of the layer (c); and introducing (b) an adhesive layer between the layers (a) and (c), and introducing (d) an adhesive layer between the layers (c) and (e). |
