<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitivity control structure of a seismic isolator which effectively controls the seismic isolator through a simple structure such that a building is not moved with small acceleration caused by wind or the like, while smoothly activating the seismic isolating function of the seismic isolator by liquefaction during earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: A sensitivity control structure 10 of a seismic isolator is installed between the underside of a base 11 of a building and a pressure-resistant batholith 15 so as to control the sensitivity of the seismic isolator 16 which horizontally movably supports the building. The structure 10 comprises an annular peripheral wall 14 which surrounds the seismic isolator 16 at the center and is raised from the pressure-resistant batholith 15, liquefaction-inducing soil 19 which is accommodated inside the annular peripheral wall 14 such that the gap between the seismic isolator 16 and the annular peripheral wall 14 is plugged, and liquefaction-inducing water 20 which is stored inside the annular peripheral wall 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
