The present invention relates to a decelerating device for an excavator including a hydraulic motor wherein an output shaft is installed to rotate; a housing having one side joined to the hydraulic motor to be able to rotate and a ring gear installed along the inner circumference wherein lubricating oil is injected; a rotary shaft installed inside the housing and connected to the output shaft of the hydraulic motor by a coupling; a first linear gear formed in the rotary shaft; a first planetary gear and first carrier engaged with the first linear gear and rotating the housing by decreasing and transmitting the power of the first linear gear to the ring gear; a second planetary gear and a second carrier engaged with the second liner gear and rotating the housing by decreasing and transmitting the power of the second linear gear to the ring gear; a cover joined to the other side of the housing to cover the first linear gear, first planetary gear, first carrier, second linear gear, second planetary gear, second carrier, and the ring gear; and a floating seal mounted to a part where the hydraulic motor and housing are joined to seal the lubricating oil supplied to the inside of the housing. The housing includes a joining rim protruding from the front circumference to receive the outer circumference of the hydraulic motor and joining the outer circumference of the hydraulic motor along the inner circumference of the joining rim, thereby preventing an intake of foreign materials from outside.
