<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To spread a mixture uniformly over the whole width of an execution object surface to ensure an excellent quality of a pavement complete body in an asphalt finisher without leaving the mixture in a corner part of an end plate and without depending on man-powered work.SOLUTION: A side screw device (1) is attached to end plates (25) respectively extending forward from tip positions of side screeds (24b) protruding in a longitudinal direction from a vehicle body side walls (26) of an asphalt finisher (20). The side screw device (1) is provided with screw blades (6a, 6b) extending in a longitudinal direction in the vicinity of inner surfaces (25a) of the end plates (25) respectively and rotationally driven to transfer a mixture forward.</p> |
