Disclosed is a method for searching contact information in a host device. The method includes the steps of: receiving a signal for requesting vehicle data of a first terminal and a location value of a second terminal; receiving a location value of the first terminal and flag information; determining the location value of the first terminal based on the flag information; determining whether difference of the determined location value of the first terminal and the determined location value of the second terminal is the equal to a predetermined threshold location value or smaller; extracting the vehicle data of the first terminal based on the aforementioned result whether the difference is equal to a predetermined threshold location value or smaller; and receiving the extracted vehicle data of the first terminal. The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment and other embodiments are possible.
