<p>The invention relates to an internal combustion engine arrangement deployed on a marine vessel (1) with an engine room (2) and an engine casing (21) directly connected to the engine room. The internal combustion engine arrangement comprises an internal combustion engine (3), an exhaust pipe (4) connected to the internal combustion engine and arranged to receive an exhaust gas flow from the internal combustion engine,a turbine unit (6) including an electric generator (7) arranged after the exhaust pipe (4) in the direction of the exhaust gas flow, and a compressor unit (10), which is provided with an electric motor (12) and which is directly connected to the internal combustion engine (3). In order to provide an energy efficient arrangement with improved emission control the internal combustion engine arrangement further comprises a selective catalytic reduction unit (5), which is arranged in the engine casing (21) directly before the turbine unit (6) including the electric generator (7) in the direction of the exhaust gas flow.</p> |
