1. A holder (5) for a leaf spring (2), the holder comprising:
a spring fastening area (10) comprising flanges which define a recess, the recess receives an end of the spring and the flanges directly abut and sandwich the end of the spring therebetween for fastening the spring (2) to the holder (5), a wheel carrier fastening area (9) for fastening a wheel carrier (4) to the spring, the holder (5) having a deformable zone (23) for transmitting force from the spring fastening area (10) to the wheel carrier fastening area (9), and the spring fastening area, the wheel carrier fastening area and the deformation zone being formed from a common material, and the deformable zone (23) comprises struts (24, 25, 29) which extend from the wheel carrier fastening area (9) to the spring fastening area (10), a wall which is formed from the common material extends between the flanges and further defines the recess, and the holder has an opening that is delimited by the struts, the wall and the wheel carrier fastening area. |
