摘要 The present invention provides a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery including: a negative electrode current collector; a binder layer formed on the negative electrode current collector; and a negative electrode active material which is arranged on the surface of the binder layer to be partially, at least, exposed and includes a plurality of carbon fiber placed apart from each other at predetermined intervals and arranged in one direction. An average fiber length of the carbon fiber is about 30-100 μm. An average diameter of the carbon fiber is about 5-15 μm. The density of the carbon fiber is about 3,200 to 5,000 threads/cm^2. Adhesive strength of the negative electrode current collector and the negative electrode active material is 8-20 N. According to the present invention, the negative electrode for the lithium secondary battery has excellent strength and can be used for manufacturing the lithium secondary battery having high capacity and high power as ohm loss and internal resistance are reduced when compared to a negative electrode having an existing structure.
