<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a terminal pin of predetermined dimensions without scaling up a board thickness of a plate.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a terminal pin has a rough shape formation process for forming a rough shape through outer shape cutting to a plate 23, a preliminary molding process for crushing the edge part 21B on both ends in a width direction of a work-piece 20 under a press of a first pressurization face 31A having a recess 31B and a second pressurization face 32A of planar form, a removal process for removing the crushed edge part 21B from the work-piece 20, and a lateral pressing process for pressing the whole of the work-piece 20 having undergone the removal process from both sides in a width direction to turn the cross section of a part to be processed into a second part of the terminal pin in the work-piece 20 circular and the width W6 of a first part 21 to be processed into a first part of the terminal pin in the work-piece 20 the width W0 of the first part of the terminal pin. In each process from the rough shape formation process to the removal process, widths W1, W2, W3, W4, W5 of the first part 21 of the work-piece 20 are made larger than the width W0 of the first part of the terminal pin.</p> |
