<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system which, without relying on only authentication information that is the result of operation by means of a contact type user interface, uses an authentication method in combination with it that does not leave the authentication information as a visually confirmable trace.SOLUTION: An authentication system comprises: a contact type authentication device, equipped with a contact type input unit, for acquiring contact type authentication information that is the result of a contact operation by means of a user manipulation tool to a specific position of the contact type input unit; a non-contact type touch sensor for acquiring motion characteristic information based on a prescribed position or speed of the user manipulation tool by detecting the motion of the user manipulation tool in a prescribed space during manipulation of the contact type authentication device; and an information processing device for performing an authentication process on the basis of authentication information that is a combination of the contact type authentication information acquired by the contact type authentication device and the motion characteristic information acquired by the non-contact type touch sensor.</p> |
