PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent eyeground photographing when the sight line of a subject eye is in a wrong position.SOLUTION: In an ophthalmological photographing apparatus comprising an internal visual fixation lamp 127 for illuminating visual fixation light to visually fix a subject eye E with respect to subject eye E, a system control unit 150 exerts control to: irradiate the subject eye E with observation light to observed the eyeground Er of the subject eye E to capture an eyeground image; determine whether or not the position of the eyeground Er of the subject eye E is effective for photographing the eyeground on the basis of the eyeground image and the visual fixation light irradiation position where the visual fixation light is applied on the eyeground image; capture the image of the eyeground Er of the subject eye E when the position of the eyeground Er of the subject eye E is determined to be effective for photographing. |
