PURPOSE: A lower mounting structure of a steering column is provided to reduce vibration in electric power steering without increasing the weight. CONSTITUTION: A lower mounting structure of a steering column comprises a mounting bracket(19), a tilt bracket(20), a hinge bracket(21), and a link bracket(22). The mounting bracket is fixed to a vehicle body. The tilt bracket is fixed to the mounting bracket, and supports the middle portion of a steering shaft tube(12). One end of the hinge bracket is fixed to the mounting bracket. The other end of the hinge bracket is connected to the housing(16) of an electric power steering device. One end of the link bracket is fixed to the mounting bracket. The other end of the link bracket is connected to a housing cover(17). The housing cover is connected to the housing of the electric power steering device. |
