PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detecting structure that entails no increase in material costs or assembly man-hours but has improved assemblability, and a current detecting magnetic core for use with the structure.SOLUTION: A current detecting structure 11 comprises: current detecting magnetic cores 12, 12; a case 13 for holding relative positions of the current detecting magnetic cores 12, 12 with curent wires 4, 4; magnetic sensors 2, 2 mounted on a printed wiring board 1; and a printed wiring board holding mechanism for holding the printed wiring board 1. The case 13 contains the curent wires 4, 4 in cylindrical portions 13a, 13a and secures the current detecting magnetic cores 12, 12, thereby holding the relative positions between the current detecting magnetic cores 12, 12 and the curent wires 4, 4, and electrically insulating between them. Opposing ends 12a, 12a of the current detecting magnetic cores 12, 12 extend for a predetermined length in a direction B transverse to a direction A of flow of a current to be measured, and are spaced apart in a horizontal direction C parallel to the direction A of the flow of the current to be measured, thereby forming an air gap 12c. |
