PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suppress temperature rise of a gear tooth surface to prevent seizure of the tooth surface and deterioration of contact fatigue strength, even in a case where an oil supply amount is cut for significantly high efficiency.SOLUTION: A gear device includes: a gear pair comprising two gears engaged with each other; an oil supply nozzle supplying lubricant to the engagement part of the gear pair; and a medium supply nozzle provided on the end side of the engagement part of the gear pair, and supplying a medium to at least one tooth surface of the gear pair to remove the lubricant adhering to the tooth surface. |
