The present invention relates to an apparatus for washing a filtration membrane block and a washing method thereof and, more specifically, to an apparatus for washing the filtration membrane block made up of a plurality of submerged flat membranes and a washing method thereof. The present invention comprises: a filtration membrane block where a plurality of submerged flat membranes are arranged; a spray part which is located on an upper part of the filtration membrane block and sprays high pressure water between the submerged flat membranes; and a cylinder part which is connected to an upper part of the spray part and transports the spray part vertically.
