PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the delay of supply of print image data to a printer even while supplying image density information corresponding to the print image data to the printer prior to the print image data.SOLUTION: A normal processing part 210 executes pre-processing such as imposition, rasterization and post processing such as color processing to inputted intermediate data to generate print image data, and transmits the print image data to a printer. An image density priority determination part 230 rasterizes the intermediate data in low resolution more than print image data generation, and an image density calculation part 234 calculates the image density of acquired raster image to transmit the image density to the printer. The image density priority determination part 230 processes the preceding page more than the normal processing part 210 correspondingly as the number of pixels of the raster image is small. The printer receives the image density of a certain page from the image density priority determination part 230 before receiving the print image data of the page from the normal processing part 210, and can perform image process control to print the page in accordance with the image density. |
