PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can suppress the occurrence of image deletion under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment and can provide good toner cleanability.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor that has a protective layer containing a crosslinked polymer as a surface layer; and comprises, lubricant supply means for supplying lubricant to the surface of the photoreceptor along the direction of rotation of the photoreceptor in an outer surface area of the rotating photoreceptor, charging means for charging the surface of the photoreceptor with a charging roller, exposure means for exposing the photoreceptor charged by the charging means, developing means for supplying a toner to the photoreceptor exposed by the exposure means to form a toner image, transfer means for transferring the toner image formed on the photoreceptor, cleaning means for removing the toner remaining on the surface of the photoreceptor, and lubricant removing means for removing the lubricant adhered to the surface of the photoreceptor, which are sequentially arranged. |
