PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing device for an internal gear which has a small size and a simple constitution and which can finish a tooth surface of the internal gear.SOLUTION: A finishing device 1 for an internal gear, which finishes a tooth surface 4b of a work gear 4 in which an internal tooth of a helical gear as a coarse material for molding an internal gear of the helical gear, includes: a work support mechanism 2 which so supports the work gear 4 as to be rotatable around a rotation center axis CL of the work gear; and a tool 3 which has an external tooth 3a having an external form coincident with that of an internal tooth 4a of the work gear 4 and which can be moved in the rotation center axis CL direction in a state such that the external tooth 3a is fitted into a tooth space 4c of the work gear 4 and is inserted into an inner peripheral part of the work gear 4. In the finishing device 1, the external tooth 3a of the tool 3 is so formed as to have a rigidity lower than that of the internal tooth 4a of the work gear 4 and as to be elastically deformable, and a tooth thickness of the external tooth 3a of the tool 3 is so formed as to be larger than a width of the tooth space 4c of the work gear 4. |
