PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform defrosting without damaging a water heat exchanger even when a hot water unit has communication failure.SOLUTION: A hot water system includes: an outdoor unit (1) in which indoor air heat exchangers (41, 42) and a hot water unit (2) having a water heat exchanger (9) can be connected and which has an outdoor air heat exchanger (6); a first motor-operated valve (7) which controls a refrigerant flow between the outdoor air heat exchanger (6) and the water heat exchanger (9); second motor-operated valves (43, 44) which control a refrigerant flow between the outdoor air heat exchanger (6) and the indoor air heat exchangers (41, 42); and a control device (13) which performs a reverse cycle defrosting operation of the outdoor air heat exchanger (6). When one of the hot water unit (2) and the indoor air heat exchangers (41, 42) has communication failure, the control device (13) totally closes the motor-operated valve connected to one of the first motor-operated valve (7) and the second motor-operated valves (43, 44), and performs the reverse cycle defrosting operation. |
