PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device that can enhance linearity of AD conversion.SOLUTION: A solid-state image pickup device has a comparator (31) for comparing an output signal of an image with a reference signal whose level varies with time lapse, plural first bit storage units (33n) and plural second bit storage units (33s) for holding counter signals of plural bits of a counter every bit according to a writing control signal based on a comparison result of the comparator, and a delay adjusting unit (32) that is provided between the comparator and the first and second bit storage units and adjusts the delay time of the writing control signal. The order in length of the delay times of the counter signals in the plural first bit storage units and the plural second bit storage units is equal to the order in length of the delay times of the writing control signal in the plural first bit storage units and the plural second bit storage units. |
