PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique, related to a pile foundation construction method and a pile foundation, which enables a pile foundation to have excellent bearing capacity and to be removed in the future.SOLUTION: A pile foundation construction method uses a pile which is connected to a supporting column of a structure at an upper section thereof and has a thread on a periphery of a lower section thereof. The pile foundation construction method comprises: an excavation process to excavate a borehole to construct a pile foundation; a determination process to determine whether or not the borehole needs to be filled with sand depending on the ground of the borehole; a sand filling process to fill the borehole with a predetermined amount of the sand depending on the ground of the borehole when determining that the borehole needs to be filled with the sand; and a driving process to drive the pile in the borehole with sand filled therein.
